Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), you will be met by your driver-guide and begin your journey to Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s most picturesque parks. Enjoy a game drive en route as you enter the park, famous for its majestic baobab trees, large elephant herds, and abundant wildlife including lions, giraffes, wildebeests, and zebras. Continue into the endless plains of the Serengeti, Tanzania’s most iconic park and home to the Big Five and the Great Migration (seasonal). Enjoy a game drive en route to your camp, spotting lions, cheetahs, elephants, and herds of wildebeest and zebra. Spend a full day exploring the world-famous Serengeti. Your morning and afternoon game drives will take you through the park’s varied habitats — open savannas, riverine forests, and rocky kopjes. Search for predators such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs, often seen stalking prey. During the migration season (Dec–July), witness the dramatic movement of wildebeests and zebras across the plains. Return to camp in the evening for dinner and relaxation by the campfire. After an early breakfast, enjoy a final morning game drive in Serengeti before heading toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa’s most breathtaking natural wonders. Inside the crater, you’ll find an extraordinary concentration of wildlife — rhinos, elephants, hippos, lions, buffaloes, and flamingos along the lake shore.
